Did you know that Simway is the company behind the games and virtual courses in both Focaltrons GolfAchiever and Dancin´ Dogg´s Optishot? Over the past five years, we have developed and refined our software engine to meet the increasing demands for graphical realism as well as the precision in our simulated physics model. Currently we have more than 80 playable golf courses ranging across the globe; from Banff in Canada to sunny Hua Hin in Thailand.
The software engine is designed to easily integrate any peripheral hardware and take full advantage of the incoming data flow from a ball trajectory. The Optishot and GolfAchiever simulators are perfect examples on how we can provide a complete solution of dedicated software and graphic content regardless of external technology such as laser, radar, infrared light or a camera tracking device. All content (3D graphics) is created from either terrestrial laser data or modeled by hand by our artists using our in-house terrain tools. This technology can obviously be utilized for any type of visualization project.
